Cristiano Ronaldo hit an impressive hat-trick as Real Madrid won 5-1
at home to Real Sociedad in the Spanish league on Saturday at the
Bernabeu. Ronaldo also assisted a fourth goal, while Karim Benzema and
Sami Khedira tallied once each.
Real Sociedad allowed Real Madrid to run riot over their defence. The home side were 2-0 ahead inside 20 minutes following goals from Ronaldo and Benzema, before Ronaldo scored his second from the penalty spot. The scoring was not finished, however, as Khedira made it four before the interval.
Real Sociedad opened their tally for the afternoon as Griezmann beat the offside trap before lifting his effort over Lopez in a wonderful finish.
Cristiano Ronaldo completed his hat-trick a few minutes later.
The three points for Real Madrid move them three points behind leaders Barcelona ahead of the Catalan outfit's clash with Real Betis.
